Welcome to Lagum Rides, a platform that connects passengers with drivers for ride-sharing services. Definitions “Company" refers to Lagum Rides, its subsidiaries, affiliates, and employees. “User" refers to any individual who accesses or uses the Services, including drivers and passengers. “Driver" refers to any individual who registers to provide transportation services through the platform. “Passenger" refers to any individual who requests transportation services through the platform. “Platform" refers to the website www.lagumrides.com, the mobile application, and any other related online services.

 

2. User Eligibility To use our Services, you must: Be at least 18 years of age. Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

 

3. User Accounts Registration: To access certain features of the Services, Users may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process. Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Account Termination: Lagum Rides reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms.

4. Use of the Services Non-Commercial Use: The Services are intended for personal, non-commercial use only. Prohibited Activities: Users may not use the Services for any unlawful or prohibited activities, including but not limited to: Engaging in fraudulent activities. Harassing, abusing, or harming another person.Impersonating any person or entity.Disrupting or interfering with the Services.

 

5. Driver Obligations Driver Eligibility: Drivers must meet all legal requirements to operate a vehicle in their jurisdiction and maintain a valid driver's license, insurance, and vehicle registration. Service Quality: Drivers are expected to provide safe, reliable, and professional services to passengers. Compliance: Drivers must comply with all applicable traffic laws and regulations.

 

6. Payment Terms Fares: Passengers agree to pay the fare displayed on the platform at the time of booking. The Company may adjust fares based on factors such as distance, time, and demand. Payment Methods: Passengers may pay for rides through the platform using a credit card, debit card, or other payment methods accepted by the Company. Refunds: All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise determined by the Company at its sole discretion.7. Booking Cancellations and Refunds

 

7.1 Passenger Cancellations

Cancellation Policy: Passengers may cancel a booking 7 days before the driver has commenced the ride. However, a cancellation fee may apply if the cancellation occurs after the driver has already been dispatched.

7 Days Before Trip, 50%

8 Days and More, 30%

 

No-Show Policy: If a passenger fails to show up at the designated pickup location within the specified wait time, the booking may be considered a no-show, and a no-show fee of 100% of the total amount paid.

 

7.2 Driver Cancellations

Driver Cancellation: If a driver cancels a booking after accepting it, the passenger will be notified immediately, and another driver may be dispatched to fulfill the ride request. The Company may take appropriate action if a driver frequently cancels bookings without valid reasons.

 

7.3 Refunds

Eligibility for Refunds: Refunds may be issued at the Company's discretion in cases such as: Driver no-shows. Cancellations made by the passenger in accordance with the cancellation policy. Service issues reported by the passenger, where the Company determines a refund is warranted.

 

Processing of Refunds: Refunds, if granted, will be processed to the original payment method within a reasonable time frame. The exact timing may vary depending on the payment provider.

 

8. Ratings and Feedback Driver and Passenger Ratings: After each ride, passengers may rate the drivers. These ratings help maintain the quality of the Services.

 

Feedback: Users may provide feedback on their experiences. Lagum Rides reserves the right to use this feedback for any purpose, including improving the Services.

 

9. Intellectual Property Ownership: All content and materials on the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the property of Lagum Rides or its licensors. License: Lagum Rides grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the Services for personal, non-commercial use. Restrictions: You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any content from the Platform without the express written consent of Lagum Rides.
